Sunday May 15 8am-4pm Garden Work Party
Please come to the Spring 2011 kick-off work party at the Petoskey Community Victory Garden on Sheridan at Willis!
May 15, 2011 8am-4pm
We’ll be building and filling 15 new plots! Work will involve assembling precut lumber, fastening wood sections together, pounding metal support stakes into the ground, and placing topsoil into the beds. We will also spread wood chips in the walkways. Plots will be numbered and assigned to gardeners.
Please bring (WITH YOUR NAME ON EACH TOOL):
-charged cordless screw driver (no electricity at the garden)
-sledge hammers
-shovels or rakes
-work gloves
Plan to dress for the weather because we’re going to get dirty and have a great time getting to know our fellow community gardeners. See you there!
